Under pressure

Do we produce better work under pressure? Good question. Steve and Lu from eightyonedesign posted two very different opinions on the matter. Lu believes she works better under pressure with a short deadline. With extra time she only wanders off on some tangent with new ideas that were not part of the initial plan. With limited time she stays on track and designs exactly what she had planned for. She feels when you know you have less time to complete a project you are less likely to allow yourself to get pulled away by anything distracting thus staying extremely focused.

However Steve feels differently about the subject. He discusses in the post how given more time can allow more time for research, happy accidents, not getting creative block because of the pressure and having more time to try new ideas.
